A method and system for a caller to locate contact information for a mobile device of a locatee, the method comprising the steps of: determining that the caller is seeking a mobile device; obtaining identifying information about the locatee; determining whether the contact information of the mobile device of the locatee can be found bas ed on the identifying information; if the result of such determination is yes, providi ng a connection or connection information to the locatee; if the result of such determinatio n is no, asking for further identifying information about the locatee; determining whether t he mobile device of the locatee can be found using the further identifying information ; if the result of such determination is yes, providing a connection or connection informati on to the mobile device of the locatee; and if the result of such determination is no, terminating the call from the caller.
