<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter on an escalator handrail, excellent in coloring, in fixation, in durability, and in heat resistance, but not eroding the rubber-like surface, and to provide a method for printing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The whole quantity of the ink composition comprises 1-40 wt.% of a colorant (carbon black, titanium oxide, copper, copper compound, or the like), 20-50 wt.% of a synthetic resin (polypropylene resin or the like), and 10-70 wt.% of a solvent (toluene, trimethylbenzene, naphtha, naphthalene, or the like).
