PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating/lowering and conveying device capable of ensuring the sufficient elevating/lowering stroke without using any long member. SOLUTION: The elevating/lowering and conveying device comprises a first supporting shaft 12 in the horizontal direction, a second supporting shaft 15 arranged parallel to the first supporting shaft 12, a movable bearing member 13 and a guide rail 14 in which the second supporting shaft 15 is movable in an approaching/retracting manner to/from the first supporting shaft 12, a crank arm 2 supported by the second supporting shaft 15, a rocking arm 3 which is supported by the first supporting shaft 12 with a tip thereof connected to the intermediate position of the crank arm 2 via a connection shaft 16, a movable conveying rail device 5 which is turnably supported by a free end part of the crank arm 2 via a free end supporting shaft 17 to hold a vehicle body M via a conveying truck 7, an arm driving device 21 to turn the crank arm 2 around the second supporting shaft 15, and a posture adjusting device 51 to maintain the horizontal posture by turning the movable conveying rail device 5 around the free end supporting shaft 17.
