<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the work efficiency of treating a copying paper jam by installing a tray supporting means so that the tray maintains the almost same position when a paper discharging unit is released from the body of a copying machine by swinging. CONSTITUTION:By pulling handle 23 by hand, paper discharging unit 20 is swung on pin 22 and released. At this time, stopper 20a of each side plate of unit 20 is hit against stopper pin 24 to regulate the opening angle of unit 20. Tray 17 is shifted to the right of the drawing as unit 20 is swung, yet since tray 17 is rotatably interlocked with upper paper discharging roller 15 and with parallel link 27 through tray pivot pin 26, it maintains the position of the nonrelease time. Thus, although tray 17 shifts together with unit 20, the position of tray 17 is maintained by means such as link 27 to enhance the jam treating operation near the paper discharging section.</p> |
