PURPOSE:To reduce a manufacturing cost of the captioned unit, by molding skirts in a main unit to left and right sides of a central hollow almost with a trapezoidal section, pressing holder-equipped side covers into the main unit from left and right sides and fixing the side covers. CONSTITUTION:A bearing block main unit 10 is firstly formed with a material 11 of the bearing block main unit by forging of a steel material or precision casting, and its shape is such that a hollow 12 with an almost trapezoidal section in a central part, skirts 13, 14, in left and right sides of the hollow 12, and expanded parts 15, 16 are molded as an integral unit. Then load ball grooves 24- 27 and no-load ball holes 28, 29 or the like are formed to this main unit 10. And then holder-equipped side covers 34, 35 are fixed from both left and right sides of the main unit 10 through mounting internal threads 40 and mounting holes 96. In this way, the bearing block main unit 10 can be prepared by forging or precision casting, and a material loss is eliminated to perform cost down. |
