PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the resolution of a video to be changed so as to reduce the data communication volume without causing any deterioration in the image quality, when the arrangement of a video displayed in a terminal is changed, in a video conference system.SOLUTION: A video arrangement change information transmission unit 209 of a terminal 20 transmits video arrangement change information for instructing the change of video arrangement to a server device. A video arrangement change unit 213 changes the arrangement of a video captured by a camera 205 of each terminal, by using video arrangement information received from the server device, and displays the results in a display 214. A video resolution change unit 206 calculates the maximum size, with which a video captured by the camera 205 of the own terminal is displayed in other terminal, and then changes the video resolution of the camera 205 by using that size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
