PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of executing a function having a higher added-value.SOLUTION: A broadcast receiver comprises: a reception unit receiving digital broadcast signals including a first data flow; a communication unit 121 acquiring a second data flow associated with the first data flow from a server device via a communication line; a video decoding unit 141 capable of generating the decoded video data by decoding video data included in the first data flow and/or video data included in the second data flow; and a digital interface 40125 capable of outputting video to an external device and capable of acquiring performance information of the external device. A video output control state by the digital interface has an output control state outputting only the decoded video of the video data of the first data flow, and a second output control state outputting both of the video data of the first data flow and the video data of the second data flow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 29A |
