<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to perfectly pumping up waste water by utilizing the force of falling water, by forming the central part of the inner bottom surface of a pumping-up pit into a specific shape, and opening the suction port of a sand pump to the shape-specified part while forming an inflow line having a falling gradient to the peripheral part of said suction port. CONSTITUTION:Solid substance-containing waste water flowed into a water pumping-up pit 1' larger than a large number of inflow ports 2 is forcibly flowed into a further smaller water pumping-up pit 1 from the opening edge part of said pit 1 and forcibly flowed into the central part of said pit 1 while guided by the corner part 7 of the inner bottom surface of the water pumping-up pit 1 and rises while guided by the almost cone shaped projection 4 provided to the central part in a protruded state. Therefore, waste water is pumped up while smoothly sucked by the suction port 6 of a sand pump 5 opened directly above the central part and the accumulation of the solid substance of waste water in the water pumping-up pit 1 is not generated.</p> |
