PURPOSE:To automatically carry-out mooring work by pressing a cable supplied from a mooring winch by a cable pressing roller after winding by one turn onto a slab winch equipped with brake which is installed onto a self-propelled flat car and allowing said self-propelled flat car to move in reciprocation between the broadside positions when the mooring cable is driven-out and taken-up. CONSTITUTION:A slab winch 4 equipped with brake, cable pressing roller 5, and a pressing metal-fitting 6a are arranged onto a self-propelled flat car 3. After an engaging cable 2 supplied from a mooring winch 1 is wound by one turn onto the slab winch 4 equipped with brake, said mooring cable 2 is press-held by the cable pressing roller 5. When the mooring cable is driven-out, the driving-out from the winch 1 and the shift of the self-propelled flat car 3 in the broad-side direction are interlocked, and the self-propelled flat car 3 is engaged with the pressing metal-fitting 6a on the broadside, and the mooring cable is automatically driven-out. Therefore, the driving-out of the mooring cable and the taking-up work can be carried-out automatically through the mechanical operation only without necessitating man power.
