A method of treating dust-containing gas comprises feeding a dust-containing gas to one of spaces which are separated by a vertically arranged filtration wall made of a solid porous material from the upper side of said one space to collect dust at the lower side of said one space while said dust-containing gas is caused to pass through said filtration wall to the other space to be a clean gas.
