PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which terminals are inserted into positioning holes without failures due to interference with inner surfaces of the positioning holes so that the terminals are highly accurately positioned.SOLUTION: A connector 11 comprises: a housing 21; a plurality of terminals 31 supported by the housing 21; and an aligning plate 41 having a plurality of positioning holes 45 into which the terminals 31 are inserted to be aligned when they are assembled to the housing 21. The terminals 31 have a plurality of plane parts 33 in a cross-sectional view. The positioning holes 45 have a plurality of positioning faces 46 which come into contact with the respective plane parts 33 of the inserted terminals 31. Between the positioning faces 46, a non-contact part 47 is provided which does not come into contact with the terminals 31 by forming a gap between itself and the inserted terminals 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
