PURPOSE:To efficiently and speedily dry the small amount of objects to be dried without applying damage by providing a control means to decrease the heat generating amount of a heater and the rotating speed of a motor when a detected temperature to detect the temperature of a drying room exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 30 reads a temperature detection signal to be inputted from a temperature sensor 22 and next reads a drying degree detection signal to be inputted from an electrode 5 through a drying degree detecting circuit 33. When the temperature in a drum 4 is higher than the prescribed value and the drying degree of the objects to be dried does not reach a sufficient value, switching is executed so as to electrify only unit heaters 18a-18c of a heater 18, to normally electrify a motor 10 for drum and further to electrify a fan motor 14 so that a fan can be rotated at low speed. When the amount of the objects to be dried is small and the temperature in the drum 4 is over increased, the objects to be dried are dried by decreasing the degree in such a way, the objects to be dried are efficiently and speedily dried and damage is prevented from being gotten to the objects to be dried.
