PURPOSE:To make the expressing capacity of a musical instrument rich by varying the leading edge of an envelope signal corresponding to the intensity of a musical performance. CONSTITUTION:An input level measurement part 24 detects the peak level of the leading edge part of an input musical sound signal. An envelope generation part 22 generates the envelope signal which varies from an initial value to a target level according to the detected peak level. A multiplication part 20 multiplies this envelope signal and an input musical sound signal by each other. |
