The aim of the invention is to reduce significantly the number of parts required to produce an antenna (4). This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the antenna consists only of a core element (5) and a sheath (6) which can be slid over the core element (5), the core element (5) being surrounded by a partly extrusion-coated wire helix (1).
