A method for controlling drying machine is provided, which includes the first drying procedure for outdoor textiles and at least one second drying procedure for other textiles, both said procedures each providing controlling a preheating stage, a main drying stage and a cooling stage. A drying temperature used in the drying machine (1) in the main drying stage in carrying out the first drying procedure is lower than a drying temperature used in the main drying stage in carrying out the second drying procedure, and after completing the cooling stage, nominal water content of loaded outdoor textiles (4) in carrying out the first drying procedure is higher than nominal water content of ordinary textiles after completing the cooling stage in carrying out the second drying procedure. By setting an appropriate drying temperature, damages on material and sealing strips at seams of the outdoor textiles (4) during the drying procedure are prevented to the greatest extent. A drying machine implementing the method is also provided. |
