PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately separate a loss resulting from a fault and a whole amount of deterioration of a solar cell module in a photovoltaic power generation system.SOLUTION: The diagnostic method of a photovoltaic power generation system includes: a step of holding measured values of a voltage and a current output by a solar cell array, and specifying a first time zone and a second time zone with a smaller amount of solar radiation; a step of calculating the number of faulty solar cells on the basis of the measured values in the first time zone; a step of calculating the number of faulty solar cells on the basis of the measured values in the second time zone; and a step of comparing the number of faulty solar cells calculated for the first time zone and the number of faulty solar cells calculated for the second time zone, and, on the basis of the result, specifying a series resistance value of each solar cell and a value indicating the degree of the loss resulting from the fault of the solar cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A |
