PURPOSE: A method for selecting a dual-sound of TV is provided to exactly output a language which a user wants to hear whenever using headphones, by automatically selecting the language when outputting the headphones after, by memorizing a language selection signal of the user when the user lis tens to a broadcasting signal with the headphones. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting a dual-sound of TV when outputting headphones comprises the steps of: deciding whether a sound output mode selected by a user is a headphone mode, when TV is on by the user; selecting one language in a dual-channel when the user's selection is the headphone mode; memorizing the selected language when the language selecting is completed in a dual-mode; maintaining a state of recognizing a dual-pilot when the selection of the dual-mode is not performed; storing the language selection signal in the dual-mode, or maintaining the state of recognizing the dual-pilot until the TV is off.
