PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch panel capable of attaching and detaching a modular jack from the front side. SOLUTION: This panel 50 is provided with four window apertures 52a-52d on its front face. Covers 30 having six modular jacks 10 are attached to the window apertures 52a-52d. Lever release preventing pieces 53 projected toward the backside are successively formed at the opening edges on the undersides of the window apertures 52a-52d, and a plurality of through holes 53a are formed on the base parts of the lever release prevention pieces 53. A pair of recessed parts 54 are formed at the open edges on the upper side of each window aperture 52a-52d. On the covers 30 protrusions to be inserted to the through holes 53a are formed, and fitting nails 41 fitting ruggedly to the opening edges on the both sides of the recessed parts 54 are formed. When the covers 30 are inserted from the front side of the panel 50 to the window apertures 52a-52d, the protrusions of the covers 30 are locked to end edge of the through 2 holes 53a and the fitting nails 41 are fitted ruggedly to the opening edges on the both sides of the recessed parts 54 for attaching the cover 30 to the panel 50.
