PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 10C alcohol composition excellent in cold resistance, heat resistance and electrical insulating properties, and a plasticizer composition comprising phthalic acid diester thereof. SOLUTION: This 10C alcohol composition for a plasticizer has a weighted average (WA) of WI, weighted with the weight composition of each alcohol component, of 173<=WA<=220, WI being the total sum of the minimal number of chemical bonds from one atom to another atom calculated for each pair of atoms in a chemical structural formula where hydrogen atoms are omitted for each 10C alcohol constituting the 10C alliphatic alcohol composition and a weighted average (WP) of WI, weighted on the weight composition of each alcohol in the 10C alcohol composition, of 3,500<=WP<=4,198, WI being calculated likewise for the phthalic acid diester comprising the 10C alcohol component.
