PURPOSE: A slide inclination correction apparatus of a press machine is provided to solve the problem that highly precise forming is impossible because of the inclination of a slide owing to an eccentric load applied to the slide. CONSTITUTION: In a press machine in which a work is formed by elevating a slide(7) through a plurality of points with a slide drive mechanism(4) arranged to the upper part of a press main body(1), an eccentric load generated to the slide(7) in the forming process is measured or calculated for each die, die correction data are prepared for each die, and an inclination for correcting an eccentric load is preliminarily imparted to the slide(7) on the basis of the obtained die correction data. Because the slide is not inclined by an eccentric load in forming the work, precise forming is made possible.
