PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a combustible refrigerant is possibly fired when defrost operation is performed under an environment where the combustible refrigerant leaked to a part communicating with the inside of a refrigerator because the temperature of a heater wire constituting a defrost means exceeds the firing point of the combustible refrigerant. SOLUTION: In a defrost means comprising a heater wire 23 of metallic resistor wound spirally, a glass tube 22 covering the heater wire 23, and a reflector 16 placed on the glass tube 22, the reflector 16 has end parts directing downward and the lower end at the end part of the reflector 16 is not lower than the upper end on the outer circumference of the glass tube 22. Temperature rise of the heater wire 23 is suppressed by enhancing heat dissipation from the heater wire 23 to the outside.
