PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity and component assembling easiness and to improve the rotation angle detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The sensor core 12 of this non-contact type rotation angle sensor is provided with an outer core 24, an inner core 25 and a circular-arcuate magnet 26. The outer core 24 is annularly formed of a magnetic material, the inner core 25 is arranged on the inner side of the outer core 24 and formed of the magnetic material in a disk shape, and an air gap 28 is provided between both cores 24 and 25. The outer core 24 is fixed to a housing and the inner core 25 is provided integrally rotatably with an input shaft. The two air gaps 27 of the outer core 24 are provided with a hall IC 23 fir magnetic force detection. The outer diameter of the circular-arcuate magnet 26 magnetized in the radial direction is the same as the one of the inner core 25. The magnet 26 is fixed to the inner 25 so as to match outer peripheral surfaces with each other.
