PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional handrail in which either the fixing property or the easiness to clean the floor is inferior and they are incompatible together. SOLUTION: The fixing plate 624 for being fixed onto the fixing holes on the Western-style toilet bowl is provided with a connecting part for connecting the plate and a body of the bowl seat gadget and the handrail part 612 for assisting seating-and-rising motion of the occupant on the bowl seat gadget. Directly fixing the handrail part onto the fixing holes of the bowl with relatively large weight provides the excellent fixing property, thus eliminating a contact surface with the floor, and improving the easiness to clean the floor.
