PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for a vehicle allowed to set a wide age range of users and to provide the protector for the vehicle capable of preventing the user from jumping out from a gap between a seat and the protector. SOLUTION: This protector 1 for a vehicle disposed at the seat, straddling the user seated on the seat, to relax impact applied to the user from a seat belt, is provided with height adjusting members 7 attached to and detached from the tip parts of leg parts 5 constituting the protector 1, to adjust the height to a seat face. The protector for the vehicle is provided with a projecting part 9 formed projecting from the cross direction center part of the lower end face of the protector 1 for relaxing impact applied to the user from the seat belt, to or close to the seat face of the vehicle.
