PURPOSE: A method for preparing high purity inorganic nanoparticles is provided. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method includes a semi batch process where a first solution (a) containing water and alcohols is mixed with a second solution (b) containing metal alkoxide, alcohols and hydroxyl propyl cellulose (HPC) in a certain amount; and a batch process where both the solution (a) containing water and alcohols and the solution (b) containing metal alkoxide, alcohols and hydroxyl propyl cellulose (HPC) are added in the solution prepared from the semi batch process. In this method, metal alkoxide is titanium ethoxide, and alcohol is ethanol. The preparation method is characterized in that the concentration of titanium ethoxide in a first step is 0.08 to 0.10M, the concentration of titanium ethoxide in a second step is 0.13 to 0.15M, the reaction temperature of a first step is 15 to 20 deg.C, the reaction temperature of a second step is 35 to 40 deg.C, the concentration of hydroxyl propyl cellulose in a first step is 0.015 to 0.019x10¬-2 g/ml, the concentration of hydroxyl propyl cellulose in a second step is 0.25 to 0.30x10¬-2 g/ml.
