PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection machine for a glass container provided with a star wheel supply device so that all of bottles supported by pockets have equal stability. SOLUTION: This inspection machine for the glass container has a star wheel carrier assembly 10 provided with a rotatable vertical shaft and an upper side hub assembly and a lower side hub assembly. Each carrier assembly has a central hub portion fixed on the shaft and an annular outer side supporting portion 15. Three same carrier portions (segments) arranged to form an annular carrier are fixed on the annular outer side supporting portion 15. The portions (segments) 15 are each provided with a plurality of bottle receiving pockets at one end, and with partial pockets 34 forming completely bottle receiving pockets together with neighboring partial pockets.
