FIELD: shipbuilding; mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in acting the cavity at areas of its nucleation and collapse on cavitation body by induced pulse magnetic field. Duration of pulses, frequency and intensity of magnetic field are equal to average magnitudes of period of rotation of gas envelope of cavitation bubbles, time of their nucleation and collapse and intensity of magnetic field of bubbles at area of their nucleation, respectively. EFFECT: increased service life and enhanced reliability of propulsors. |
