PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that the parts number is increased by two vanes and a spring and the cost is increased because of a structure in which the vane of a vacuum pump comprises two divided ones, and both end faces of the divided vanes are reliably brought into contact with an inner race by utilizing a spring force to perform the sealing. SOLUTION: A vane 15 is formed of a resin in one component by forming an elastically deformable thin-walled bent part 15a in a center of the vane 15 of a vane type vacuum pump, the cost of the vacuum pump can be decreased thereby. The volumetric efficiency can be improved by allowing the vane to be reliably brought into contact with an inner surface of a cam ring 12 by a thin-walled bent part 15a of the vane 15 to seal an intake chamber A and a discharge chamber B before and behind the vane.
