PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome an inconvenience of a conventional water ionizer formed of a water purifier, an electrolytic bath, a switch device for controlling take-off of ionic water and stoppage of the take-off, and an ionic water spout pipe which are formed individually from each other and set at a sink, the inconvenience being caused by setting a box which houses therein the electrolizer and electric components connected thereto, on a bottom board in a space under the sink, the box taking up a large space under the sink, thereby causing inconveniences when things are taken in and out of the space under the sink, and to provide a water ionizer which enables effective use of the space under the sink. SOLUTION: The water ionizer produces ionic water by introducing therein tap water having passed the water purifier equipped with a purifying filter, and then the ionic water is taken out of the spout pipe. According to the ionizer, the electric components electrically connected to the electrolytic bath are arranged on the electrolytic bath, and the electrolytic tank and the electric components in this state are housed in the box body, to thereby constitute an ionizer unit.
