PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that allows discrimination between a detection signal for a light beam which has entered a BD sensor without passing through a reflector and a detection signal for a light beam which has entered a BD sensor after being reflected from a reflector when any of electromagnetic and electrostatic MEMSs is used.SOLUTION: The optical scanner includes: a light source 12; an MEMS mirror 11; a BD sensor 13; and a reflection mirror 14, the MEMS mirror 11 scanning a scanning range E2, the BD sensor 13 being at a first end of the scanning range E2, the reflection mirror 14 being at a second end of the scanning range E2. A first time interval T1 from when the BD sensor 13 is scanned in an A direction to when the BD sensor 13 is scanned in a B direction is different from a second time interval T2 from when the reflection mirror 14 is scanned in the B direction to when the reflection mirror 14 is scanned in the A direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
