PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device for a shutter, which overcomes the problems such that a hook rod cannot easily be inserted into the hook hole of the shutter and such that the management of the hook rod is also made difficult, because an operation for closing the shutter is performed by using the hook rod which is separated from the shutter. SOLUTION: The pulling rope 2, equivalent to the hook rod, is attached to a base plate at the lowermost part of the shutter so as to be integrated with the base plate, and provided with a mechanism for moving the pulling rope 2 to an end so that the pulling rope 2 cannot be an obstacle when opening the shutter.
