PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner comprising particles having a homogeneous shape and narrow in the range of particle size distribution, by a production method friendly to the environment. SOLUTION: The toner is produced from a dispersion obtained by finely dispersing a dispersoid composed mainly of a resin material into a dispersion medium, through the following processes: a dispersion medium-removing process of jetting the finely particulate dispersion from a head part, removing the dispersion medium during its transportation in a solidification section, and then obtaining an aggregate coagulated with a plurality of fine particles deriving from the dispersoid; the first bonding process for obtaining a temporarily bonded product by melt-bonding each of the plurality of the fine particles constituting the aggregate; and the second bonding process of progressive melt-bonding by thermally treating the temporarily bonded product.
