An additional annealing step may take place after welding the connection piece to the reeds prior to the sealing operation in inert gas and the fusing of the piece by a current pulse through the device. If the connection piece is of magnetic material the pieces thereof which remain on the reed ends after fusing provide added magnetimass to the contacts. |
