Heald frame steel cord with depending rubber spring - has joint part of rubber spring enclosed by shrinkable sleeve to stabilise cord movement and reduce rubber wear

Heald frame steel wire is provided at its lower end with a rubber draw spring which is partially enclosed along a distance by a flexible sleeve which is attached to the wire along a section. Used in Jacquard weaving looms. Movement of heald frame wires is stabilised by simple means and wear of rubber springs is minimised.
