A body (1) contains a current source, one of whose poles is connected to the said body, and the other of which is connected to an electrode (2) in the shape of a needle. The patient holds the body (1) with one hand, and the operator applies the pointed end (2b) of the electrode (2) on a point of the body of the patient, for example his concha auriculae. The treatment is performed by passing a low electric current from the conducting tip (2b) of the electrode (2) onto the part of the human body with which this tip (2b) is in contact. The instrument comprises a plug (4) mounted in series in a circuit consisting of the body (1), the current source and the electrode (2). This plug is intended to supply an ammeter, a loudspeaker or headphones, so as to allow determination of the instant when the tip (2b) is situated exactly at the position on the body of a so-called "tsubo" point corresponding to an important point of the individual circulatory and reactive system of the human body. <IMAGE>
