<p>PURPOSE:To obtain decorative laminated material having a rugged pattern in a simple process and at a low cost by a method wherein an ink coat containing water absorption expanding resin is provided on the base and the upper portion of the ink coated layer is coated with aqueous liquid, heated and dried. CONSTITUTION:A print layer 2 and ink coated layers 3 which contain 5-70% by weight, preferably 10-30% by weight of binder (e.g., vinyl chloride resin etc.), organic solvent and water absorption expanding resin (e.g., saponified material of a copolymer composed of vinyl ester and ethylene unsaturated carbon acid, and the like) are formed by screen printing or the like on a base 1. Then, the base obtained in such a way is coated by a spray method or the like with aqueous liquid (e.g., water varnish containing water soluble acryl resin or the like) 4 and expanded by absorbing the water of the ink coated layer 3. If necessary, it is coated with overcoat varnish dissolved in organic solvent (e.g., unsaturated polyester resin etc.) and heating and drying are conducted after or before coating is completed.</p> |
