PURPOSE:To form a connecting terminal part through a simple process by providing circular-ring-like projections on the upper part of an electrode pole, inserting the said projections into the electrode-pole inserting hole of a container lid, and fusing the molten resin component of the peripheral bent of the lid to the side wall of the electrode pole so as to seal the battery. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of circular-ring-like projections 10 are provided on the upper side wall of an electrode pole 6' of an assembled element 8' so as to obtain a bushing body. Thus obtained bushing body is inserted into an electrode-pole inserting hole 12 of a container lid 11 so that the circumference surfaces of the projections 10 touch the innr side wall of a peripheral bent 13. Next, a fusing tool 14 such as an ultrasonic wave generator is placed around the outer side wall of the bent 13, and the bent 13 is fused to the side wall of the pole 6' including the projections 10 by melting the resin component of the bent 13 while pressing the bent 13 with the tool 14 and by pressing the above molten resin component upon the side wall of the pole 6'. Consequently, complete sealing can be carried out, and the sealing process can be simplified to a large extent without any need to use a lead bushing or the like. |
