摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain picture information of good quality by compensating a flicker due to fluctuation with time of the brightness of an object in an output signal of picture information outputted in time series by an object brightness detector. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously with starting of initial reading of a solid-state image pickup element, information a (tA) of object brightness corresponding to accumulation of picture element information to a picture element is detected and held in a capacitor C2 by an analog gate AG4. Next, information a (t) of object brightness corresponding to accumulation of picture information to each picture element is stored alternately in capacitors C3, C4 through analog gates AG5- AG8, invertors IN3, IN4. The ratio of information of a (t) to that of a (tA) is divided DIV and scanning output generated from OT of a solid image pickup element MOE is synchronized to sample holding pulse phiM to effect sample holding synchronization SHD. Cutput V(t) of the circuit SHD and output of a circuit DIV are multiplied MLP, and a flicker of picture information due to fluctuation with time of object brightness is compensated.
