发明名称 ALTITUDE ANGLE CORRECTING MECHANISM FOR THEODOLITE
摘要 PURPOSE:To correct the altitude angle, by suspending a lens from a vertical line with a specified length, and always guiding the scale on the veritcal line to a scale reading focal point mirror with respect to the slant of the instrument. CONSTITUTION:The suspending point of the altitude angle correcting mechanism are suspended by belt shaped thin lines, which have a specified length l from the center of the outer surface side of a lens B in a lens frame 13, from the main body of the theodolite in the shape of two pieces or the x shape of four pieces. The altitude angle scale is vertically bent upward by a prism C. Then it passes through the lens B and lens A, and it is bent by a prism D at a right angle. The lens A and the prism D are fixed to the main body of the theodolite other than the altitude angle correcting mechanism. The altitude scale is focused on the scale reading focal point mirror 7 which is fixed to the main body of the theodolite on the center of the horizontal axis of a telescope. The scale is read by a microscope 9. As described above, two lenses A and B and prisms C and D are used in the altitude angle correcting mechansim, and the lens B and the prism C are suspended by one frame. Therefore, the altitude angle can be automatically corrected with respect to the slant of the instrument.
