PURPOSE:To enable a high-density strength section to be laid in a low-density heat-insulating structure when heat insulating bodies such as a car cooler case etc. are molded by the reaction injection molding method by a method wherein cartridges housing refrigerant are inserted into insert pieces on a fitting bracket section. CONSTITUTION:The top force 11 and the bottom force 12 of a cooler unit case are heated and held at the desired temperature. They are opened to set the insert pieces 13 in the bottom force 12. Force cavities are made by the cavity 10 and the fitting bracket molding cavities 10a in the insert pieces 13. The cartridges 21 where the refrigerant 23 is sealed in advance are inserted into the cartridge storing holes 14 set in the insert pieces 13. The solutions A and B for reaction injection molding RIM are mixed, the mixture is injected into the force cavities, expanded, cured and after the intended curing time the forces are opened, the molded product and the insert pieces 13 are projected by projecting pins 20 simultaneously. Thereafter, the insert pieces 13 are removed from the molded product to obtain the desired heat insulating structure. |
