Lifting ring

A lifting ring, provided with a top opening in which a crane hook or a cable can be hung, is provided in its bottom part with devices which can interact with an anchoring part. According to the invention, the lifting ring consists of two side stops which can be pivoted towards one another. A clamping jaw is allocated to each of these side stops. The clamping jaws can seize the head of a pin or can be passed through a loop, specifically in such a way that the alignment of the side stops with one another also effects the closing and the locking of the clamping jaws. The lifting ring according to the invention permits a space-saving design of the lifting devices and enables concrete parts to be lifted whose anchoring devices in the top area end in either a spherical head, a loop or a hole. <IMAGE>
