<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of oil vapor into the atmosphere from a gas discharge port by allowing the discharged oil vapor to pass through a liquid absorbent spraying zone, cooling the vapor thereby, recovering the vapor along with the liquid absorbent, and separating the oil with centrifugal and sp.gr.-difference separation. CONSTITUTION:The high-temp. oil vapor is passed through a liquid absorbent spraying zone 3 for spraying water added with a trace amt. of a surfactant, absorbed in the water, cooled simultaneously to increase the viscosity, and coagulated. The oil is recovered along with the liquid absorbent in this way. Then the liquid mixture of oil and water is sent by a pump 5 into a conical oil and water separator 6 wherein oil is centrifugally separated from liquid by forcing the liquid mixture of oil and water into a nozzle 7 and further separated by the sp.gr. difference as the uppermost layer. The oil is automatically discharged and removed by a float switch 15 at the upper part of the conical part operated by the sp.gr. difference between oil and water and an electrically-operated control valve 17 installed to an oil discharge pipe 18. Accordingly, the discharge of oil vapor into the atmosphere from a gas discharge port 24 can be prevented.</p> |
