PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary temperature rise by constituting a heating element by an aggregate obtained by combining plural semiconductor heating elements each of which consists of a simple substance setting up its longitudinal direction to rectangularly to a sheet carrying direction along the sheet carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:The single substance 10a in each block, the specific heat/specific resistance of the single substance 10a is set up so that Joule heat is increased when a fixed voltage is applied from the aggregate divided as a sheet inserting side (shown by a code F) block (a) of a heat plate 10 to a sheet discharging side block (c). Thus, the aggregate of the single substances constituting the heat plates are blocked and divided in the sheet carrying direction and temperature setting of each block is made different, so that unnecessary temperature rise is saved and the danger of abnormal temperature rise or energy consumption can be prevented. |
