Partition standard bent to have a fluted shape, particularly for use in a partition. Such standards are being used e.g. for fixing plaster boards when erecting partitions. The plaster boards are affixed with screws on both sides of the standards in a common partition structure. The price of the standard depends on the material thickness of the metal sheet that is used for it. The rigidity of the standard depends on the design and on the material thickness of the sheet that is used. With the design of the invention, in which in the back (1) of the standard are made transversal reinforcing grooves (5) either in addition to longitudinal reinforcing grooves (4) known in themselves in the art or without them, the sheet thickness may be reduced from 0.56 mm to 0.4-0.5 mm. The rigidity may also be increased by providing in the flanges (2), transversal grooves (7). As taught by the invention, the grooves (5, 8) in the back (1) extend close to the bend (6) of the standard or a small distance past the bend. |
