PURPOSE:To reduce the irregular rotation and to reduce the wears of a driving surface and a feeding surface by contacting a drive ring with a slider through a transmission rotor. CONSTITUTION:A circular vibrator 1 is formed of a ceramic electrostrictive element, elevationally polarized upward and downward to provide an earth side electrode 2 and a polarizing electrode 3. A drive ring 5a is bonded on the electrode 2, and a disclike slider 8a formed with the feeding surface 7a is engaged through many transmission rotors 6 made of spheres. The rotors 6 are interposed in contact along the circumferential direction in a gap between the driving surface 4a and the feeding surface 7a. Thus, the rotors 6 point- contacted with the surface 4a are rotated around their own axis by propulsion force generated on the surface 4a, and the slider 8a is rotated through the surface 7a by the rotation of the rotors 6. |
