摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a frictional driving device having long life by detecting the rotational angle of a driving roll and the displaced extent of a slider and controlling press contact between the driving roll and the slider so as not to generate slippage based on a difference signal between both the detected signals. CONSTITUTION:The press contact between the slider 1 and the driving roll 3 can be adjusted by an adjusting device 11. The displaced extent of the slider 1 can be detected by a detector 5 and the rotational angle of the driving roll 3 can be detected by a detector 4. Signals obtained from respective detectors 4, 5 are sent to an unshown processor and the difference of these signals is calculated. A displacement difference between the driving roll 3 and the slider 1 can be calculated from the difference signal, and when said preload adjusting device 11 is controlled in accordance with the calculated value, the press contact between the slider 1 and the driving roll 3 can be adjusted at a limit value suppressing the generation of slippage.
