PURPOSE:To provide a sensor which is simple in construction, facilitates formation of a diffusion hole and improves productivity by constituting a hermetic space of a solid electrolyte plate, sealing plate and projecting part and providing an aperture to communicate the projecting part and the outside space and the hermetic space. CONSTITUTION:Electrode films 2 are formed on both faces of the solid electrolyte plate 1 having oxygen ion conductivity and the sealing plate 6 is provided to diametrically confront one face of the solid electrolyte plate 1. The projecting part 5 is so provided as to make tight contact with the other of at least either of the plate 1 or the plate 6 diametrically confronting each other and to enclose the electrode film 2. The hermetic space is constituted of the electrolyte plate 1, the sealing plate 6 and the projecting part 5. The diffusion hole 4 to communicate the outside space and the hermetic space is provided to the projecting part 4. |
