PURPOSE:To prevent a drag to be reduced, by providing an idle oil reservoir chamber to communicate with a circulative clearance, communicating with a through hole and a torque transmission chamber, so that a fan is prevented from rapidly increasing its speed and from generating abnormal noise. CONSTITUTION:Even for a stop in a condition such that a large amount of oil is collected accumulating in a torque transmission chamber 4 after high temperature operation by a through hole 5'' provided in a partitioning plate 5 in the time of stopping, during the time of this stopping, the oil is naturally communicatively circulated from the side of the torque transmission chamber 4 to the side of an oil reservoir chamber 6 through the through hole 5''. Further an idle oil reservoir chamber 14 is left as formed so as to provide the volume almost equal to the amount of oil existing to accumulate in the torque transmission chamber 4 and the idle oil reservoir chamber 4. Then, an engine, when it is started, immediately releases the oil, collected accumulating in the torque transmission chamber 4, toward the idle oil reservoir chamber 14 to be stored by centrifugal force to the oil generated in accordance with rotation in the side of a sealed casing. As the result, the torque transmission chamber 4 places its inside in a condition that no oil is left existing. In this way, fan noise can be prevented by reducing a drag to a driven side. |
