PURPOSE:To make a laser simultaneously irradiate plural approximate points from a direction vertical to a machining surface by providing the respective exiting side end faces of plural optical fibers on the light incident side of a condensing lens. CONSTITUTION:The exiting end faces of the plural optical fiber cables are arrayed on the object side of the condensing lens 3. Namely, the exiting ends 1 of the two optical fiber cables are arranged at the same distance from the lens 3 at intervals of (a), and an image is formed by the condensing lens 3 having an effective diameter larger than the spread of laser light exiting from the exiting ends 1 of the two optical fiber cables. Thus, two condensing spots of the laser light beams are formed on the machining surface 4 and approximate two points are simultaneously machined. Besides to that, an optical axis is made vertical to the machining surface 4. |
