The massage apparatus consists of a frame (3) with parallel axles (1) which support rollers (2). The frame is oscillated in the direction in which the rollers are free to roll by an electro mechanical drive unit (4). The appts is placed under that part of the person's body which is to be massaged and then set in motion. The rollers (2) may be of cylindrical form or their shape may be such that it is not rotationally symmetrical. In this latter case, the rollers may rotate about an axis parallel to the axle on which it is mounted. USE - Massage appts with rollers in oscillating frame.
